My horticultural pictures

I love pot gardening.......this is one little corner of the deck. That was suppose to be out 4th of July long week-end project.......alas with all of the rain, it couldn't take place...........which gave me a whole bunch of time to update my jewelry site.....stop in and look if you have minute........the link is posted over there on the right. The snapshot below is the other end of the deck......it's a nice size deck, but it is to hot here to sit outside much, and the humidity.........yowzers!

Now you either love or curl up your nose at my tree face.......me, well it's how I look and feel many a day.........I know my s-i-l wasn't to thrilled with him, yet the other day I noticed him out there straightening up one of this mawwwww-velous creature's eyes......bless him.
Now this was my fern garden at the beginning of this spring............now look at it......made a note of the "creatures" stuck among the ferns...........

Whoa these beauties have taken off and growing like weeds...........I love it. I took pictures of the "creatures" tucked inside too.........

This is Oscar the turtle..........I sure don't want to forget him when we leave.......guess a lot will depend upon where we go, if I take him or not.......the dragonfly
the copper flower and hummingbird.......man if you would have told me a few years ago that I would be purhasing these items and tucking them in among outdoor greenery, well I would have shook my head and laughed in your face - shoot before you know it, I will enter into the land of knomes (which are actually starting to look kinda cute).

This beauty has the prettiest and brightest yellow blooms.........have no idea what it is, but it sure took off, once I convinces my sil that it wasn't a weed!!!!!! Last but not least is this little corner of the yard..........last year it was so cozy, sadly the morning glories aren't doing well and the bench, which was a garbage sidewalk save, is falling totally apart and will again be assigned to the garbage sidewalk........saddens me, but it truly is beyong repair..........of course I thought we could just take off the box and grow hollyhocks or those yellow bushes inside...........alas, it was shot down, my kids are just not cottage/shabby chic type of people...........whaaaaa whaaaaaaa

Oh too bad! It would be so pretty with flowery things planted inside!
