A Christmas give-away..........finally

Don't you just love this Santa? He is my main man.........well him and Sam Elliot.........oh please oh please, don't ever make me have to chose..........pulllleeeeeezze!!!

Finally, I took a picture of my give-away goodies.......aren't I sad, not to take time until last night........while I was wrapping, sorting and getting ready the box ready to send to my beautiful family in Why-oh-ming, I just squared up my shoulders and said to myself "Woman, grab that bag, grab that camera and snap!".........well who wouldn't listen to someone that sounded that stern.......surely not me...........so here is a picture of the give-away

A bright and cheery towel for the kitchen, two ornaments, a snowflake and snowman, a really special magnet from Mary Engelbreight AND a wonderful little packet of bath crystals for relaxation..........see, the magnet for the lists, a towel for the baking and cleaning, ornaments for the tree trimming and finally bath crystals for relaxing............now for the reality........since I am so darn late getting this posted, not sure if you win, will these goodies reach you in time............BUT, you could put them away for next year...........yes?
Just leave a comment on this post sharing something that you like about the season........if you share on your blog about this give-away, another entry............hmmmm, closing date......how about the 16th.........I know, not much time..........but I am slow, we know I am slow, I am accepting it and in time I hope you will too..........
Have a good day......smile........share your beautiful smile.............

You're giving SAM ELLIOT away?
No? Darn. I looooove Sam Elliot.

What do I love about the season?
Can I say Sam Elliot?

I love blasting Christmas carols and making cookies. Having family and friends visit. Decorating. Eating too much chocolate. Best of all has got to be family!

What I love about the season?
Well, God and family come first, wonderful friends I am grateful for as without them we are nothing. I'm grateful to be able to share another season with my wonderful husband of 43 years! Without my Jimmy I wouldn't be able to do what I do and be myself. I'm grateful for the blessings I have been given in the way of my crafts because it's given me an opportunity to put some smiles on a lot of faces which warm my heart. Which in turn makes all the hours spent worthwhile. Last but not least, I love the feel of my grandkids faces on my cheek and seeing them grow up year after year, happy and healthy. God has given me many blessings and I am so grateful.

Christmas Eve and Christmas day are the only 2 days I enjoy snow here in Connecticut. I also enjoy seeing my friends and family open the gifts that I gave them. I do my best to make them "special" with a homemade touch.
Most important, is the pure joy I will see when my Grandkids open their gifts (Jeremy is almost 3 now, and little Isabel is 6 months).

Love your Blog....Let's see...what do I love most about Christmas? Probably the Santa face cookie cutter I bought when our first son was born 40 years ago. I have made them every year since and they are what the kids (and now grandkids) say they would miss most if I didn't make them. They are putzy to make, molded faces, painted cheeks and eyes and piped on beard and mustache. I labor for hours over them but it is a labor of love. What do I love about Christmas...listening to Christmas carols on the radio(could listen to them all year). Making gingerbread houses with my kids and seeing how they have progressed from the year before. Snuggling up on the couch with popcorn and the kids watching the Charlie Brown Christmas special. I love making ornaments and decorations with the kids. Making and eating to many cookies. And remembering my momma everytime I pull out the few ornaments that i haved that belonged to her.
And I love how much more friendlier people seem to become at this time of year!

Love the music on your blog! I love the time with family and planning all the wonderful surprises for them and watching the joy on all the grandkids faces throughout the season...what's better than that (well maybe a little chocholate once in a while!)

I used to be the biggest Sam Elliot fan. I loved the movie when he was the life guard. Hot hot hot.

Thanks for the heads up on the giveaway. I would love to win.

I just spent time reading the past posts that I missed. You have been posting such fun Christmas cheer!

I'm with you, how can you get tired of Christmas. There is so much to enjoy!

I loved the homemade cards. I used to make my cards then stopped because I found a lot of people didn't appreciate them. There is a lot of work that goes into making those pretty cards.

I hope you have a lovely Chrismtas and all your dreams come true!

Hugs,
Joanne
