Yum-dilly-isous

Wouldn't this guy be fun done up in a quilt/stitchery type of thing........will add it to my list........hmmmm, let's see that particular list winds from my computer, out the door, around the front yard and back into the house..............IT NEVER GETS SHORTER!!!!!!!

The other night I fixed a treat from supper...........it is actually a breakfast dish, but we like breakfast suppers...........thought I would share the recipe with you.........maybe you already have it..........if not, here it is:

COMPANY FRENCH TOAST

9x13 pan

1 stick of butter ( I use a wee bit more.......makes more gooey)

1 1/2 cups of brown sugar ( again, I use more for the good goo)

1 T cinnamon.

Melt butter, add brown sugar and cinnamon; place in bottom of pan

Layer either thick slices of day old french bread, Texas toast or 2 slices of plain bread on top of each other in the pan on top of the goo.

1 1/c cups milk

6 eggs

Mix and pour over the bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight

Uncover Oven 350 for 1 hour.

This is soooooo good......now I used Texas toast and was only able to put six slices in the pan, but it worked out fine. If you try it, let me know how you like it.........please.

Taking BIG plates of cookies to the base today for daughter's office........plus made one up for my sil to take to his work..........tried some new recipes..........these all came from the BHG site........

White chocolate cherry shortbread.........took way to much time and not that tasty.

Super duper chocolate kisses.........super easy and look much harder to make then they are.

Cappuccino-carmel oat bars............oooooo, will definitely keep and make these again.....

Also made blonde brownies, raspberry bars and snickerdoodles............I had plans to do more, but the best laid plans of mice and old Nanas........

Hope your day will be a good one.........holiday vacation started officially today, so I will be hoarse from screaming and tearing my hair out by Tuesday.........say a prayer for me.........please.
